Plagued by addictions and disappointing record sales, Robbie Williams fell into a depression around 2006. The album Take The Crown not only brings Williams back into the spotlight as a commercial success, it also gets him back on tour for the first time in seven years. The DVD Live In Tallinn reports on one of the seventeen stadium concerts. The capital of Estonia appears to be a wonderful backdrop for a comeback. With between sixty and seventy thousand spectators, Tallinn appears to be looking forward to a Williams party. The singer tries hard, although he is definitely less vocal - and less flexible as a dancer - than in previous years. But besides the fact that Williams has a lot of good songs, he is also an incorrigible clown and a good host. With many special effects and a lot of jokes and fun he makes sure that everyone goes home with a good feeling. (JE)
